Shauna McCullough becomes a member of the USARS World Team by winning the First Place in World Class Ladies Inline Freestyle at the National Championship. Shauna will represent the United States at the World Championship in Fresno. CA in November of this year

Khary Armstrong gets a First Place in Freshman Boys Freestyle and Kalyn Hunt, age 8, earns First Place Awards in Juvenile Girls Freestyle at the Skateworld Invitational in Lorain, Ohio.

SKATER DIRECT will have a booth at the Great Lakes Regional Championship in Austintown, Ohio. Plates and wheels will be available for freestyle, dance and figure skating. Coach Carlesa Williams and TEAM SKATER members Kalyn Hunt and Khary Armstrong will show samples to skaters, coaches and rink operators at the championship. Kalyn Hunt, age 8, earns Second Place Awards in Juvenile Girls Freestyle and Figures at the St. Patrick's Day Invitational in Donora, Pennsylvania. Coach Carlesa Williams was pleased with this first performance in SKATER equipment, and stated that the program was the best Kalyn had ever skated.

Kalyn, age 7, has represented the Great Lakes Region in Juvenile girls Figures and Elementary Pairs at the National Championship.

Khary, age 12, has earned 2 Coaches Awards at the Great Lakes Regional Championship in Elementary Loops. He has represented the Great Lakes Region in Elementary Loops, Elementary Figures and Elementary Pairs at the National Championship.

Both skaters plan to skate combined events at the World Class level and their coach and parents feel confident that the affordable SKATER Superlight plate products will help them get there.

SKATER DIRECT introduces a range of lightweight aluminum artistic skates for advanced and beginning skaters for U.S. and Canadian markets. The skates are available for freestyle, dance and figure skating. They are of high precision European manufacture and are the lightest on the market.
The Superlight model is available for both freestyle and dance, while Polar model is the equivalent for figure skating.
The entry level Style model is available for freestyle and dance. It is more affordable and is more appropriate for beginning skaters.
